A H.E.S.S Telescope in its full Glory!!

Welcome to Christos N. Hadjichristidis Homepage.

As you might have guessed by now, I work for the VHE Gamma-Ray Group (based in Durham) which is mainly involved with the H.E.S.S. Project. Before starting this adventure, I was lucky enough to participate in the NESTOR experiment : a Deep Sea Neutrino Telescope located 4km below the Ionian sea near Pylos in the S.W. of Greece. Thus, if you fancy Gamma Ray and/or Neutrino Astronomy, you may find the following links interesting:

Since the 1st of Janyary 2004, I've been involved with the 21st Century Science, a pilot scheme that offers a fresh alternative approach in the teaching of Science in Secondary Education. The following link consists of a rough list of work performed in Tudhoe Grange School:

From the 1st of February 2005 I'm teaching modern Greek for beginners at Newcastle College. Besides rediscovering the amazing wealth beauty & depth of the Greek language, this new adventure brought me in contact with very interesting philhellenes to whom the following site is dedicated:
